This position is an onsite 5 days a week, Mon-Fri, and may require some nights and weekends as needed. As on Onsite Supervisor, this role supervises Stationary Engineers at multiple locations in Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities Supervise the technical operations and maintenance of a building, supervise technical staff, and provide support to other buildings and supervisors as required. Provides direction and support to maintenance technicians within the facility or portfolio (including performance management, coaching, and development Communicates regularly with JLL Chief Engineer & Deputy Project Manager and attends scheduled staff meetings/calls Act as an interface with client and assist Chief Engineer & Deputy Project Manager with tactical planning for the facilities team's goals and objectives Provide direction/information to vendors, facilities staff and service providers as required ensuring excellent coordination/execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption, as needed Implements and schedules preventative maintenance standards that are in compliance with JLL and Client guideline Manages and schedules all projects and reviews for accuracy and quality of work performed by technicians and vendors Coordinates the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of HVAC, water, electric, and other systems to ensure efficient operation with the Client System Owner Maintains a critical parts inventory and monitors it throughout the year Assist with researching, analyzing and reporting budget variances. Work with team members to identify and respond to any financial or budgeting related issues Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Qualifications HS or GED minimum 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in supervising operation and maintenance of equipment similar to this contract. Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on commercial HVAC maintenance experience and EPA Universal Refrigeration certification required. Must possess or be able to obtain required NATE HVAC certification Must have an excellent working knowledge of computer-based applications and programs, to include Excel and Word.
