Overview

Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services | Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions | Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids

Major Position Responsibilities
    Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.
  • Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.
  • Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.
  • Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.
  • Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.
Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have an Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing, Management or related degree
    • Preferred Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience
    • Highly Preferred FAR/DFARS and Government Contracting experience.
    • Preferred Knowledge of Government Property, Cost Contracting, and Program Management.
  • Or equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
