Zayo is seeking Corporate Performance Management & Reporting Director to lead and manage all aspects of USAC funding management and interactions including reviewing and monitoring filings to ensure filings are accurate, complete, filed timely, and in compliance with USAC standards and guidelines.Our Corporate Performance Management & Reporting Director is responsible for USAC compliance and ensures customers' and Zayo's compliance with government USAC funding programs.
*We're open to this position working in a remote capacity within the United States. Please note that if candidates do live within 45 miles of a Zayo office location, we ask that you work in a hybrid capacity.
Primary Responsibilities:
As Chief Compliance Officer, ensures USAC standards are followed, provides training to company personnel, and required FCC and USAC reporting is accurate and timely filed.
Manages and guides the team to provide USAC funding customer support by assisting and responding to funding requests and inquiries. Provides guidance and information on funding questions as appropriate.
Continuously improves processes to facilitate automation and process improvements within the Legal and Finance Departments. Works with clients, vendors, and internal departments to gather information, provide advice, and resolve problems.
Collaborates and helps guide invoicing, pricing and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely customer invoice processing and seamless processes between funding and invoicing.
Works closely with Zayo Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to set a strategy aimed at customer satisfaction and retention.
Manages a high performing team, including resource planning, hiring, professional and personal development, and coaching. Ensures the team has scalability and redundancy in place to meet business needs.
Interacts directly with external customers to facilitate USAC compliance as needed. Actively engages in managing high impact/high visibility customer issues throughout the organization through proactive problem identification, prescribed escalation, and notification management.
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Minimum of 10 (ten) years' experience with 5+ (five) years of direct management experience
Minimum of 2 (two) or more years experience with USAC funding programs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetSuite, preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to discuss technical (USAC) and billing issues with customers
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $175,000 USD/annually, commensurate w/ experience.
