Are you ready to make your mark? Woodward is hiring for multiple Preventative Machine Repair Technicians at our Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. These positions are on our AWS (weekend shift) and will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on shop floor equipment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for preventative and general maintenance and repair of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems and equipment, machining centers, etc. on the production floor

• Using Impulse, MS Word, WWD systems to manage PM schedules and work orders

• Participating in reactive maintenance requests, responding to down machines in emergency situations on the shop floor.

• Fluid and filter changes on machinery including but not limited to custom machinery and other types (CNC, NC, pressure washers, etc.)

• Manage preventative maintenance schedule with production workers and leadership on the shop floor.

• Moderate experience/skills with mechanical and electrical repairs on CNC, NC, pressure washers, etc.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical/electrical and fluid (for test stands) drawings and blueprints

• Replace defective components and wiring and adjust mechanical parts

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• 5 or more years of experience in an industrial, mechanical or electrical manufacturing role or 3 or more years of experience in machine repair
