Description

NaphCare is hiring an experienced Director of Operations just like you to join our team at the Wyoming Department of Corrections - State Office located in Rawlins, WY.

The Director of Operations is accountable for coordinating the delivery of contract services and ensuring their sites are in compliance with all aspects of the client contract. Provides operational and clinical oversight to 10-12 prison systems, community based hospitals and provider groups. This position will serve as a liaison for effective collaboration among multiple departments including contracting, claims, scheduling and medical records.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing

Requirements:

  • RN required
  • At least 5 years of healthcare related experience
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience, multi-state management experience highly desirable
  • Travel required 10 - 15%

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes appropriate resources to resolve routine medical issues and performance improvement processes.
  • Proactively takes action to solve problems and uses objectivity and insightfulness when approaching problems, meeting established goals, and taking responsibility for results and outcomes.
  • Works closely with the EVP, SVP and AVP on operational issues that involve our clients and network facilities.
  • Actively works to ensure contract compliance by NaphCare and conducts regular reviews of the Quality Control Plan.
  • Coordinates and conducts regular site visits or teleconference calls
  • Demonstrates professionalism by using objectivity, maintaining self-control when under pressure, maintaining a high degree of integrity, and promoting a positive work environment by setting an example.
  • Builds productive working relationships with supervisors, security staff, healthcare staff, patients, vendors, and clients.
  • Act as liaison between staff and the administration to ensure quality patient outcomes..
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, work under pressure, manage changing priorities and exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, negotiating, and interpersonal skills; be customer-service oriented; have the ability to problem solve; be well-organized; and work independently with hospital executives in all negotiations
