Job Description
Koch-Glitsch, a Koch Engineering Solutions company, is looking to add a Quality Manager to our team located in Wichita, KS.

We are seeking a Leader to oversee all quality related activities for the Wichita, KS and Uxbridge Canada sites. This person will work on strategic initiatives as well as ensuring effective tactical execution of quality activities. This person will lead a team of professional Quality personnel.

What You Will Do In Your Role
  • Manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems of the sites.
  • Maintain the ISO 9001 certification
  • Proactively share quality performance of all disciplines to appropriate leaders and teams and participate in improvement activities
  • Lead and develop the team through effective performance management, team career development, fostering open communication in all directions and ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing set goals/objectives.
  • Uncover opportunities for improvement in the quality and operations processes.
  • Be deliberate in developing and sharing best practices and accelerating our knowledge processes.
  • Collaborate with the other KES Americas quality leaders and globally to improve our capabilities and performance.
  • Further advance safety culture, and alignment of site team with Koch safety culture and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external customers.
  • Acquire and sustain a working knowledge of industry quality codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ASNT)
  • Act as a liaison and address customer concerns or complaints regarding quality issues
  • Ownership of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of our product and services

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
  • Experience coaching and leading professionals within a business organization
  • Effective communication, people management and team building skills
  • Effective Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action skills
  • Quality, manufacturing, fabrication, project management, supply chain processes or engineering design experience
  • Experience maintaining certification in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems or equivalent
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25%

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree in quality, business, or engineering
  • Knowledge of quality tools, such as SPC, design of experiment (DOE), leading root cause analysis and corrective actions, project management experience
  • Understanding and Expertise in ASME Section IX Welding procedures and qualifications
