Job Description
Position Summary

This position will be on a 2-2-3 night shift schedule. The hours are 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Coordinate and perform cGMP manufacturing operations for manufacturing biopharmaceutical products. Ensure the effective use of material, equipment, and personnel while making products at high-quality levels

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of procedures for microbial manufacturing, purification, or support area of manufacturing using SOP's and batch records
  • Use equipment and techniques related to support for microbial fermentation and/or harvest and purification
  • Responsible for completing paperwork for each task, cleaning procedures, aseptic processing techniques, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and laboratory safety practices and procedures
  • Responsibilities include hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-5 years experience; or Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2-5 years of equivalent experience
  • Experience with fermentor, homogenizer, centrifuge, process tanks, chromatography systems, UF/DF, SCADA control systems, computer, and telephone

Salary Range: $26.44-33.65

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
