We are actively seeking a Satellite System Test Engineer who will be responsible for the preparation and execution of system level testing for our customer's flight products.

Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

In this role, the Electrical Integration & Test Engineer will ensure that all the products are validated according to the product requirement specifications and compliant with the company quality standards. They will coordinate testing schedules and will provide real-time feedback and support to the MAIT and engineering team.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and conduct test plans and procedures from flight hardware requirements
  • Prepare documentation for TRR (test readiness review) and TRB (test review board)
  • Quick identification and reporting of deviations from expected results
  • Scripting and automation of test setups
  • Support the implementation of hardware-in-the-loop test systems to support software development and system verification and validation

Skills Requirements:

  • Experienced with integration and/or testing of electronics hardware
  • Experience using test and measurement equipment: Oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting analog, mixed-signal, and/or digital circuits
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • Able to be responsive to real-time priority shifts in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Satellite or defense industry knowledge
  • GEO satellite integration experience
  • Teamwork spirit

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's or MS degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position

Good to have:

 

  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • Experience translating user specification to requirements
  • Python programming skills
  • Interest in growing your skillset as part of our international team

Salary Range: The typical pay range for this position is USD $150,000 - $195,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).
